Union City, Tenn.–Seventy Union City Schools students signed up to participate in “Tornado Dribblers” this year and the group held its first practice Thursday at the Pleasant Valley United Methodist Church activities building.
Youths from Pre-K thru the fifth grade are participating and learning the fundamentals of dribbling from coaches Abby Cruce, Allison Kail, Jessica Graham and Laura Ashley Chism.
Practice will be held every Thursday from 3:30-4:15 at Pleasant Valley UMC.
The groups’ first performance has been set for Oct. 17 at Union City Middle School.
