Murray Woman Struck By Her Own Car

Murray, Ky.–An 84-year-old Murray woman was struck by her own car in a business parking lot and transported to the hospital after an accident Thursday night.
Mary Tinsley was transported from the scene to the Murray-Calloway County Hospital by local EMS for treatment of her injuries.
Murray Police responded to a call around 6:40 p.m. involving an individual being struck by a vehicle in a parking lot at a business on Chestnut St.
Upon arrival, officers spoke with Tinsley who told them when she got out of her vehicle, it began rolling backward and when she tried to get back in it to stop the vehicle, she fell. The front tire then rolled over her.
Bystanders were able to stop the vehicle before it struck any other person or property.
