Burn bans have been issued in more area jurisdictions.
Because of very dry conditions and lack of rain, Camden Fire Chief Jerry Pierce issued a burn ban for the city of Camden. He said burn permits will not be issued by the city until further notice.
Effective immediately, all open burning inside the City Limits of Martin is prohibitive until further notice. If anyone has any questions they can contact Station 1 at 587-4919.
Murray earlier issued a ban on burning in the city limits and the city of Paris is considering issuing a ban.
