Henry, Tenn.–Using a Themal Imaging Camera (TIC), the Henry Volunteer Fire Department was able to trace the source of a fire at a private residence Wednesday afternoon.
Henry Fire units were dispatched on a fire alarm at 795 Bunn School Rd. Engine 3 responded to the scene to find no smoke showing. The home owner explained she came home to her house full of smoke.
According to the press release, firefighters killed the power to the home and used the TIC (Thermal Imaging Camera) to trace down the source of the fire. The refrigerators motor had caught fire and burned the ice maker’s water line in half.
The water from this burned line ended up putting the fire out. Only minor damage was received to the home.
