Paris, Tenn.- Despite a hot and humid afternoon Saturday, the Puyear Cub Scout Pack 226 raised nearly $300 for the Henry County Sheriff’s Office Animal Shelter at Eiffel Tower Park at a “Paws For A Cause” fundraiser.
Sheriff Monte Belew, his K9 Si and Deputy Brittney Nancy were on hand at the fundraiser, with Belew and Si putting on a demonstration for everyone.
The HCSO grilling team grilled hot dogs and one of the two dogs brought from the shelter was adopted on site Saturday as well.
