Shepherd's Table Serving Meals Tuesday

Huntingdon, Tenn.–The volunteers of The Shepherd’s Table at the First Presbyterian Church of Huntingdon invite everyone to share a free meal, served restaurant style this Tuesday evening, September 17, at the church.
The Community Kitchen was created last year for those who want to fellowship with others, as well as, those that are in need. No matter what your situation is – you are welcomed.
The meal begins at 5 p.m. and the kitchen will remain open until 6:45 p.m. The Fellowship Hall located at 19835 E. Main Street, in Huntingdon. Make sure and come hungry there is always plenty of good food.
“We have provided more than 700 meals since last spring,” said Suzanne Carter, co-chairperson and founding member of the Shepherd’s Table. She invites anyone and everyone to share a meal on the third Tuesday.
The menu always has something for everyone. In the past, The Shepherd’s Table has served spaghetti, grilled hamburgers, baked ham and tacos. There are always plenty of sides and a variety of delicious desserts.
The Shepherd’s Table has been able to feed up to 80 guests per evening with the benefit of donations of both money and food.  Each meal costs approximately $150.
