Union City, Tenn.–Union City Schools will dismiss early Friday afternoon, Sept. 13, so that students and teachers may attend the annual Homecoming Parade.
Students of Union City Elementary and Union City High School will dismiss at 1:45, with students at the Middle School dismissing at 2:00.
The Homecoming Parade will begin at 3:00 p.m. on First Street in downtown Union City and will be followed by a pep rally on Washington Avenue.
The community is encouraged to line the downtown sidewalks from Sherwin Williams to Scott’s Grill to view the parade and support the UCHS Golden Tornado football team and student body.
Union City hosts Booker T. Washington Friday night at 7, with the Homecoming Queen to be crowned at halftime of the football game.
