Buchanan, Tenn.–Miraculously, no one was taken to the hospital after a two-vehicle accident on Hwy. 79N Monday evening which resulted in an overturned vehicle in the highway.
The Henry County Sheriff’s Office, Paris Landing Fire Department, EMS ambulance and Tennessee Highway Patrol were dispatched to the intersection of Hwy. 79N and Buchanan Road around 6:30 p.m. on a report of a motor vehicle accident with overturned vehicle and possible injuries.
Paris Landing Fire Chief Reggie Coles said arriving units found a black Toyota car sitting in the intersection with major front end damage and a gray GMC pickup truck overturned in the intersection.
Coles said five young females were in the car, but were not injured. He said were from France, spoke little English and that he thought they were students.
All occupants of were out of both vehicles. No one was taken to the hospital. Paris Landing Fire was on the scene approximately 2 hours with 1 truck and 6 firefighters.
