Calloway County, Ky.–Crews continue to search Kentucky Lake in Calloway County for a woman in her early twenties who fell overboard from a moving pontoon boat Sunday. The incident reportedly occurred on the south end of the lake in the area near the Paradise Resort.
Kentucky Department of Fish and Wildlife Resources Chief Communications Officer Kevin Kelly told WENK/WTPR Monday morning that the operator of the pontoon boat was arrested and charged with boating under the influence. The name of the individual has not been released.
Kelly said the incident remains under investigation and more information will be forthcoming.
