Buchanan, Tenn.–It will be called The Lodge at Paris Landing State Park when it’s completed in 2021. That’s the new name for the former Paris Landing Inn that is being replaced and modernized at the state park in Buchanan. Signs have been appearing at the state park as grading work continues at the site and state officials say the project is on target for the spring 2021 completion. As previously reported, the total number of rooms to be constructed at the Lodge is 90, which is up from 65 that state officials had originally planned. Doster Construction of Franklin are the general contractors and Goodwyn Mills and Cawood of Nashville are the architect/engineers for the project. (Shannon McFarlin photo).
