Martin, Tenn.—This weekend will be busy in downtown Martin as the 26th annual Tennessee Soybean Festival kicks off with activities.
The Home Grown Farmers Market opens at 8 a.m. at the Martin Farmers Market downtown and will feature live music, many food and craft vendors, staying open until noon.
The Biodiesel Truck and Tractor Pull begins at 7 p.m. Saturday at the Martin Recreation Complex (admission $10, with children under five free).
On Sunday there will be plenty of activities, with the Animals from Around the World Petting Zoo open from 3-10 p.m., Sea Lion Splash at 4, 6, and 8:45 p.m. and The Beatles Return tribute band at 7 p.m., followed by fireworks.
