Dover, Tenn.—No one was injured when a fisherman was thrown out of his boat on the Cumberland River in Stewart County and the boat kept moving.
According to the Stewart County Sheriff’s Office, the fisherman’s boat struck something in the water near Hickman Creek and he was thrown from the boat. He was wearing his life jacket but didn’t have the kill switch attached. He managed to swim to the bank and nearby residents called 911.
