Dover, Tenn.—Some 20 ladies attended the Self-Defense/Crime Prevention Class at the Stewart County Sheriff’s Office Tuesday night. Jim Knoll from the Clarksville Police Department was instructor and spoke on gun violence and what you should do in different situations to protect yourself. It was a hands-on class with instruction in self-defense techniques. It was the second class to be provided by the sheriff’s office. Hot dogs were served before class and The Wives of Stewart County Law Enforcement provided each participant with goodie bags which included tools they can use in a time of need.
