Benton, Ky.–Accidental drowning has been ruled the cause of death for 14-year-old Brandon Martinez whose body was found Sunday at Kentucky Dam Marina and the Kentucky Fish and Wildlife say that marijuana and alcohol were recovered at the scene.
The cause of death was ruled accidental drowning by the medical examiner after the autopsy Monday.
A houseboat party involving teens was reportedly held the night before Martinez was found. Kentucky Fish and Wildlife Information Specialist Kevin Kelly told WENK/WTPR that marijuana and alcohol was found at the scene.
