Union City, Tenn.–Tyson Foods in Union City is an important part of West
Tennessee and on Tuesday, they donated more than 19-thousand pounds of chicken
to Trudy’s Café in downtown Union City.
Trudy’s Café is an after school program that offers food, homework assistance, report card rewards, games, and love to local youth zero to 18 years old.
Tyson Official Keisha Hoope said, “Trudy’s Café is a very worthwhile
organization and through Tyson Foods Community Pantry program we want to
donate food to areas where our team members live.”
Tyson has named Trudy’s Café Director Valeria Hyde a Tyson Hunger Hero.
