McKenzie, Tenn.—The McKenzie Dog Park was officially opened Thursday with Randy Boyd having the honor of cutting the ribbon. The Randy Boyd Foundation previously presented a check for $25,000 to the city of McKenzie for the park, which paid for six new benches, two water fountains, two dog tidy poles with clean-up bags and a sign at the entrance. The dog park, which is located next to the McKenzie Recreational Park on Como St. Dogs must be at least six months old and have their shots to romp in the park. (Jennifer Waldrup photo).
