Union City, Tenn.–Main Street Union City sponsored a “Brainstorming Breakfast” early Thursday morning, at which numerous plans and proposals were discussed to promote Union City.
Main Street Director Lauren Tanner and other officials updated the group on different projects, including the Depot Street landscaping, Historic Downtown Union City t-shirts, downtown banners. Tanner also updated everyone on the 2019 Facade grant for downtown businesses.
Upcoming events discussed included the Taste of Ken Tenn set for Sept. 26, and the Food Trucks and Trick or Treat event downtown on Oct. 31.
Tanner said, “We are so excited for the wonderful things happening in downtown Union City.”
Among those in attendance was Amy Keathley and Chasity Smith of the WENK/WTPR sales department.
