Carroll County, Tenn.–The body of an elderly Carroll County man who walked away from his home Sunday morning was found Monday about a half-mile from his house.
The Carroll County Sheriff’s Office had issued an alert for Rex Worman, age 76, of Red Williams Road between Huntingdon and Hollow Rock. The alert said he had left his residence Sunday morning and hadn’t been seen since. The alert indicated that he had health issues.
According to the sheriff’s office, the body was sent for autopsy.
