Paris, Tenn.–A fire on the roof of First Baptist Church in Paris was quickly extinguished by Paris Firefighters around 12:15 p.m. today. Workers were installing a new roof on the building located at 313 N. Poplar St. when the fire started. Firefighters at the scene said they had not yet determined the cause. (Shannon McFarlin photo).
