Henry Man Sought By Metro Crime Unit

Paris, Tenn.–A Henry man is being sought on multiple charges by the Metro Crime Unit after he took off on foot after crashing a stolen car on Poplar Street in Paris Friday afternoon.
Jermel Kinley, age 32, of 652 Mockingbird Rd., Henry, was already wanted on felony charges that stemmed from the August 1 drug sweep conducted by Henry County law enforcement when the incident happened Friday.
According to a Metro press release, officers attempted to stop Kinley, who was driving a stolen 2007 Chevy Monte Carlo when the crash occurred and Kinley ran off on foot.
The passenger, Megan Thompson, age 29, of 450 Kirks Trading Post Rd. in Buchanan, was arrested at the scene and charged with theft by Deputy Sgt. Jamie Myrick, Paris Police Investigator Sgt. Jeramye Whitaker and Investigator Derrek Colley.
Kinley is being sought on several charges, including felony theft, felony evading, felony reckless endangerment and sale and delivery of a controlled substance.
