Buchanan, Tenn.–The Henry County High School Fishing Team is now in 2nd place going into the final day of the Bassmasters High School Nationals at Paris Landing State Park Saturday.
The team of Mercedes Ellis and Gage Sherrod were 7th at the end of the day Thursday but pulled away from the pack Friday. With Friday afternoon’s weigh-in, they are at 33 pounds, one ounce.
In 1st place now ar the team of Tucker Smith and Grayson Morris from Birmingham, Alabama.
Fishing begins Saturday at safe light and the final weigh-in is at 2:30 p.m. at Paris Landing.
