Murray, Ky.–The Murray Police Department welcomes the newest members of its police force.
On Monday, August 5th , Officers Dennis Lewis, Dustin Bevil, and Colin Kelly were sworn in
as peace officers at City Hall.
Officer Lewis comes to the Murray Police Department with approximately 13 years of
experience as a peace officer. He began his career with Lyon County before working several years
with the Marshall County Sheriff’s Office.
Officer Bevil and Officer Kelly come to the Murray Police Department as new recruits and
will begin their law enforcement career once they have completed the police academy training
held at the Department of Criminal Justice Training in Richmond, Kentucky.
