Paris, Tenn.–The Henry County Sheriff’s Office is welcoming its new K9 Jagr, whose partner is Cpl. Dalton Watson.
Captain Adam Jenkins said the addition of Jagr raises the total of K9s at the Henry County Sheriff’s Office to eight. Jagr is a German Shepherd and Malinois mix.
Jagr was acquired for free from Boston, where one of the smaller departments had disbanded their K9 units. Jenkins said the contact for Jagr was made during the K9 training sessions that the Henry County Sheriff’s Office hosts for departments around the country each year.
