Paris, Tenn.—With the Henry County Fair set to start Saturday, an anonymous donor has provided much-needed handrails for the Livestock Arena bleachers. Fair Official Deneicia Gregson said, “We can’t thank you enough for your generosity.” The new handrails will be a bonus for the young and old during next week’s livestock shows which do get very crowded in the bleachers.
In addition, Big Ed’s has a new stage which will be used for the W.T.P.R. Pickin’ At The Fair performances next week. The West Tennessee Players Resource group will be performing at 6 p.m. Monday through Thursday at the fair next week. You can bring your lawn chair or sit in the bleachers that have been installed at Big Ed’s, too.
The Fair will be held August 3-10.
The Miss Teen and Fairest of the Fair pageants will be held the first night of the Fair, Saturday, August 3, beginning at 6:30 p.m. The Horse Show will be held at the Henry Co. Saddle Club in Henry at 6 p.m.
