Self-Supporting BPU Pole Installed As Part of 641 Expansion Project

 
 
Paris, Tenn.–Service Electric crews installed a new 60’ utility pole at the corner of Rison and Market St. in Paris today.  The new pole is part of the Hwy. 641 Expansion Project and is the first self-supporting pole on the Paris Board of Public Utilities system. The self-supporting pole has 6.5’ diameter base with a 43’ deep concrete foundation. All utility relocation as part of the 641 Expansion Project is paid for by The Tennessee Department of Transportation. (Meagan Hart photo).
