Martin, Tenn.—An Alabama man who was found asleep on the ground at a parking lot in Martin early Sunday morning was arrested on public intoxication and resisting arrest charges.
Anthony Anderson, age 28, of Pineville, Alabama, was discovered at 4 a.m. by Martin Patrolman Trae Vaughn. Anderson was asleep on the ground on a lot on North Lindell Street.
While being arrested for public intoxication, he allegedly resisted arrest while officers were placing him in the patrol car. According to the report, Anderson tried to kick out the window several times.
