McKenzie, Tenn.—An Obion County man was killed and his passenger injured in a one-vehicle accident which occurred early Sunday morning in McKenzie.
Killed in the accident was Mayhall Clay, age 29. His passenger, Camaron Jones, ages 34, of Potts Camp, Mississippi, was injured but the accident report does not indicate the extent of his injuries.
According to Tennessee Highway Patrol Lt. Brad Wilbanks, Mayhall was westbound on Hwy. 124 when his vehicle went off the left side of the roadway, hit a ditch and overturned.
The accident was investigated by Trooper Ryan French.
The accident occurred in the Weakley Co. part of McKenzie.
