Martin, Tenn.–Martin Police arrested a Mayfield man in a Sunday morning shooting.
Martin Police responded to a shots fired call on N. McCombs St. at approximately 10:14 am. When they arrived, the victim, 51-year-old Jerry Crosby of Martin, told officers an unknown individual fired multiple shots at him while in the area of Jackson St. and N. McCombs St. The suspect then fled on foot. Crosby was not injured.
Officers were able to locate the individual hiding in the woods by the railroad tracks behind the old Middle School building on N. McCombs St.
Arrested was 33-year-old Archie Nunn of Mayfield. He is charged with Aggravated Assault and Possession of a Firearm During Commission of a Dangerous Felony. He is being housed at the Weakley County Detention Center awaiting arraignment.
