Kirby Wallace Receives Second Life Sentence

Clarksville, Tenn. — Kirby Wallace has received his second life in prison sentence with no possibility for parole during a hearing Friday in Montgomery County. The plea deals in Montgomery and Stewart Counties mean he avoids the death penalty.
Wallace, 53, is the man who led area law enforcement on a week-long manhunt last year during a violent crime spree that included murder and arson in Stewart and Montgomery Counties.
In separate hearings in Stewart County and Montgomery County, Wallace pleaded guilty to charges of murder of several people as well as arson, aggravated robbery and theft charges.
Wallace was finally caught by Henry County Sheriff Monte Belew, Cpl. Stacey Bostwick and K9 Rowdy.
Meanwhile, as we’ve previously reported, three people from Stewart County have been charged with harboring Wallace during the manhunt and tampering with evidence.
