Paris, Tenn.–Downtown Paris Association (DPA) Executive Director Kathy Ray said Saturday’s 10th annual Ice Cream Social and Antique Car & Tractor Show “was the most successful we’ve had in the last 10 years. We had a huge crowd and the weather was perfect for ice cream and socializing. We’ve brought more and more to the event each year, with the Kid Zone and the games for children. We had 84 classic cars which everyone loved looking at and we had 16 booths with all kinds of ice cream.”
The booth winning Best In Show was Atkins-Porter Neighborhood with its Mardi Gras theme; Best Them was TVCC; and Best Ice Cream was Rob Minton with his peanut butter and banana ice cream.
Winner of the Adult Ice Cream Eating Contest was Jonathan Tull of Paris and winner of kids’ ice cream eating contest was Kamari Ray.
Winner of Peoples’ Choice car was Bob Milam with his 1953 Ford Custom and winner of Peoples’ Choice tractor was Keston Throyer.
Frozen t-shirt contest winners were: Adults 1. Nate Case; 2 Tyler Walker; 3. Blake Morgan. Kids contest 1. Jax Tull; 2. Gabe Jordan; 3. Rylan Mitchell.
