Obion Co. Students Receive Scholarships To UTM

 
MARTIN, Tenn. – Several Obion County students have been awarded scholarships to attend the University of Tennessee at Martin for the 2019-2020 academic year, according to Dr. James Mantooth, executive director, Office of Enrollment Services and Student Engagement.
 

  • Audrey Adams, of Union City, daughter of Jason and Jamie Adams, will be a junior.  She received the Driver/Goad English Scholarship.
  • Parker Albright, of Obion, daughter of Paul and Kellye Albright, will be a senior.  She received the Kenneth and Carolyn Coleman Endowed Scholarship.
  • Chelsea Anderson, of Union City, daughter of Barbara Atwill, will be a senior.  She received the J. Paul and Myrtle Phillips Education Scholarship.
  • Haley Arthurs, of Union City, daughter of Matt and Mindy Chappell, will be a freshman.  She received the Achieve Scholarship.
  • Mirna Borrayes, of Union City, daughter of Jamilton and Mirna Borrayes, will be a senior.  She received the Robert (Pete) Vawter Scholarship.
  • Kera Corum, of Union City, daughter of Matt Corum and Mandi Corum, will be a junior.  She received the West Tennessee Young Farmers Scholarship.
  • Daniel Finch, of Troy, son of Larry and Robin Finch, will be a senior.  He received the Kyle Matthew Toon Scholarship.
  • Madison Hicks, of Union City, daughter of Thomas Hicks and Marie Adkins, will be a junior.  She received the Kyle Matthew Toon Scholarship.
  • Maegan Johnson, of South Fulton, daughter of Scott Johnson and Stephanie Johnson, will be a freshman.  She received the Kenneth and Carolyn Coleman Endowed Scholarship.
  • Ariabella Kinney, of South Fulton, daughter of Candi Kinney, will be a junior.  She received the John and Betty Tanner Scholarship.
  • Arianna Kinney, of South Fulton, daughter of Candi Kinney, will be a junior.  She received the John and Betty Tanner Scholarship.
  • Keaton McGuire, of Kenton, daughter of Chris and Melinda Cooper, will be a senior.  She received the David Hogan/Baptist Hospital Scholarship.
  • Marli McMillin, of Hornbeak, daughter of Richard Hogg and Kristi Davis, will be a senior.  She received the David Cooper Memorial Scholarship and the Deans Scholarship.
  • Luz Morales, of Union City, daughter of Miguel and Juana Morales, will be a senior.  She received the Coleman Opportunity Scholarship.
  • Katy Parker, of Union City, daughter of Ty and Sidney Parker, will be a senior.  She received the Aspiring Women Scholarship and the Brown/Hill Family Law Scholarship.
  • Lane Partin, of Union City, son of Tim and Angie Partin, will be a freshman.  He received the Rehabilitation Corporation Scholarship.
  • Madison Pitts, of Obion, daughter of Jimmy Pitts and Jessica Jowers, will be a junior.  She received the Arthur L. and Nell L. Sparks Math Scholarship.
  • Mikayla Shupp, of Troy, daughter of Shanna Shupp, will be a junior.  She received the Annette Sublette Ferguson Graduate Scholarship and the Elam Transfer Achieve Scholarship.
  • Michaela St. John, of South Fulton, daughter of Michael and Cammi St. John, will be a junior.  She received the Parker Agricultural Scholarship.
  • William Suiter, of Union City, will be a freshman.  He received the Elam Alumni Legacy Scholarship.
  • Ali Whaley, of Union City, daughter of Regina Whaley, will be a freshman.  She received the Advance Scholarship.
