Graves County, Ky.–A motorcyclist was injured after he ran off the road to avoid a deer in Graves County Thursday.
Dustin Black, age 30, of Clinton, Ky., was transported to Jackson Purchase Medical Center after the accident which occurred KY 339 near Franklin Road.
Black was northbound on KY 339 on his 2005 Harley-Davidson VRSCA when a deer ran out in front of him. He swerved to miss the deer, lost control and overturned. Black and the motorcycle slid several feet before coming to rest.
Deputy Mason was assisted at the scene by good samaritans and Mayfield/Graves County EMS.
