Huntingdon, Tenn.–Keller Smith of Huntingdon received the Pinnacle of Excellence Award presented by Huntingdon Mayor Dale Kelley and the town of Huntingdon for his participation in this year’s Scripps National Spelling Bee.
It is the highest award the Town of Huntingdon gives and Smith is the youngest to ever receive the award. The award is given for extraordinary achievement.
Mayor Kelley said it was the way Keller distinguished himself locally, state and national level during the national spelling bee.
His name will always be on the wall in Huntingdon City Hall. He is the son of Scott and Shawna Smith.
