Dover, Tenn.—A third person has been arrested, charged with helping accused murderer Kirby Wallace hide from a week-long manhunt last year in Stewart and Montgomery Counties.
Agents with the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation arrested David Lee Dover, age 26, of Woodlawn, and charged him with one count of fabricating and tampering with evidence and one count of accessory after the fact.
He has been booked into the Stewart County Jail. He is being held without bond pending a hearing.
New charges have been filed against Derek Summers and Mindy Harris, who also were charged with accessory after the fact for allegedly harboring Wallace during the manhunt. Summers was arrested Monday on charges of fabricating or tampering with evidence and larceny. Harris was arrested Tuesday morning but those charges have not been announced.
Wallace, age 53, is charged with murder, especially aggravated burglary, aggravated arson and two counts each of especially aggravated robbery and especially aggravated kidnapping. He led law enforcement from all over the area on the week-long manhunt through the heavily wooded areas of Stewart and Montgomery Counties.
Wallace was finally caught by Henry County Sheriff Monte Belew, Cpl. Stacey Bostwick and K9 Rowdy.
