Two Found Dead In Stewart County Identified

Big Rock, Tenn.—The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation (TBI) has identified the two people whose bodies were found in Big Rock Friday evening.
TBI Public Information Officer Josh DeVine told WENK/WTPR Monday morning that the names of the two are Patricia Ann Smith, age 53, and Randy J. Merchant, age 52.
He said the investigation by the TBI into the case remains active and ongoing.
Stewart County Sheriff’s Public Information Officer Paulette Redmon said investigators are waiting on the medical examiner’s report for the cause of death before releasing further information.
