DOVER, TN – As the last program of its Summer 2019 “History – Art Education Series,” Fort Donelson National Battlefield is inviting youth to be part of conservation efforts for the Eastern Bluebird population.
The bluebird workshop, scheduled for this coming Thursday, July 25, will allow youth to learn about the Eastern Bluebird, its habitat, life-cycle, and how to promote survival of the beautiful birds.
After learning about the bluebird and its habitat, participants will assemble their own bird box to take home to help the population in their immediate area.

As participation is limited to a total of twelve youth, registration is required by contacting Ranger staff directly at 931-232-5706 ext. 0.
The youth workshop is free, and all materials are provided. Participants must be accompanied by a parent or guardian for the duration of the activity.
