Portion Of Old Paris-Murray Rd. To Be Closed

 
Paris, Tenn.–A portion of Old Paris-Murray Road in Paris will be closed from Monday to Thursday as part of the project to widen Hwy. 641.
The J.R. Hayes Construction Co. informed city officials  that as part of the construction of the highway project, the Old Paris-Murray Road will be realigned to a different intersection with SR 54 (Hwy 641) than currently exists.
To safely reconstruct the intersection, it is necessary to close approximately the first 500 feet of Old Paris-Murray Road from the intersection with SR 54 (Hwy 641).
The road will be closed on Monday, July 22 at 6:00 a.m. and reopen by the end of Thursday, July 25, weather permitting. Traffic on Old Paris-Murray Road will be detoured through Tanglewood Lane during the closure.
