Buchanan, Tenn.- Hundreds braved the heat for Saturday’s Paris-Henry County Chamber of Commerce Water Fun Run, the Chamber’s biggest fundraiser of the year. $500 cash prizes were won at 3 pm, 4 pm and 5 pm at the participating resorts.
The winner at 3 p.m. at Paris Landing was Sonny Forbess of Munford who beat out all the other hands with his royal flush. Forbess’ wife, Lisa said that they have been coming to the Water Fun Run for several years and this was the first time either of them won the $500 prize.
