Rural Troy Barn Destroyed By Fire

Troy, Tenn.–The Troy Fire Department was battling a fully-engulfed barn fire early Friday morning. The building was destroyed in the fire and had been used as a combination barn and shop.
Troy Fire Department officials said high humidity levels made the fire all the more intense.
A spokesperson at the Troy Police Department said the fire was located a couple miles outside of Troy on R Calloway Road. He said no one was reported hurt.
Troy firefighters gave a ‘huge thanks for the manpower and water support’ from the Obion Fire Department and Rives Fire Department. Also at the scene was the Obion County Sheriff’s Office, Obion County Rescue Squad and Gibson Electric.
