Stewart Co. K9 Harry Credited With Meth Arrest

Dover, Tenn.—After an alert from Stewart County Sheriff’s K9 Harry, a Benton Co. man was arrested on meth charges Tuesday evening.
Arrested was Rocky Mercado Veliz, age 36.
Deputy Robbie MacDonald confiscated 25 grams of meth, scales and other drug paraphernalia from the suspect on Hwy. 49.
Sheriff Frankie Gray said drug arrests will continue to increase with the implementation of the county’s K9s.
