Former Murray Coach Pleads Not Guilty To Voyeurism Charges

Murray, Ky.–A former Murray High School track coach and teacher pleaded not guilty Tuesday to charges involving voyeurism at school during his arraignment at Calloway County Circuit Court.
Mark Boggess was arrested in April and is charged with three counts of possessing matter portraying a sexual performance by a minor. He is also charged with eight counts of voyeurism. According to the indictment, the alleged offenses occurred between January 1 and April 25.
Murray Police said at the time of the arrest that staff at the school located a device that was able to record video and was set up in a manner to video individuals while they were changing in the bathroom of the nurse’s station. The suspect was able to be identified from the video as he was setting it in place.
Boggess was released from the Calloway County Jail in late April on bond on condition he cannot have contact with alleged victims or witnesses.
