McKenzie, Tenn.—The Bethel University Bass Cats signed the 2019 Tennessee Fishing League Worldwide State Champion Tuesday.
Matthew Cummings of Union City was signed by Bass Cats Coach Garry Mason, who said, “We are very glad to have him join our program and team. He will make a great Bethel Bass team angler.”
He is the son of Chris Cummings and Shanna and Greg Dial. He attended Obion County High School and will major in business at Bethel.
He feels his biggest strengths are his leadership skills and being a team performer.
