Sharon Man Sentenced In Alleged Shooting Incident

Dresden, Tenn.—At a jury trial Tuesday in Weakley Co. Circuit Court, a Sharon man was found guilty of a lesser charge of reckless endangerment after the charge of aggravated assault was dismissed.
Gregory Wade Evans was being tried on the aggravated assault charge which stemmed from an incident in which he was accused of firing shots at the front tire of another man’s motorcycle while he was riding south on Hwy. 45.
Judge Jeff Parham sentenced Evans to 11 months and 29 days on the lesser charge, with all but 45 days suspended. Evans was ordered to pay a $500 fine.
