Decatur, Tenn.—A Camden High School student has died and her sister was seriously injured in a head-on crash in Decatur County Saturday night.
According to the report from the Tennessee Highway Patrol, Taylor Coffey, age 17 of Sugar Tree, was a passenger in her sister’s car which was hit head-on by another vehicle on HWY 641 in northern Decatur County.
Her sister, Jazzlyn Coffey, age 19, was driving northbound on Hwy. 641 when a southbound GMC Denali pickup truck driven by Jonathan Fisher, age 30 of Ripley, swerved into the path of Coffey’s vehicle, according to the THP.
Neither Fisher nor his passenger were injured according to the report.
Jazzlyn Coffey is hospitalized with serious injuries.
