Paris, Tenn.–There was a whole lotta cooking going on this week at the Henry County Extension Office as 26 youngsters participated in the first-ever cooking camp.
Called “Adventures in the Kitchen”, the camp was taught by Extension Service Director Michele Atkins. It included six hands-on cooking lessons for kids age 10-12. The lessons were designed to teach cooking skills and healthy eating.
Atkins said the camp was such a success “we’ll definitely be doing it again”.
