Murray, Ky.–Firemen to the rescue!
A Good Samaritan called the Murray Fire Department to report a kitten that was trapped down a storm drain on 12th Street Tuesday.
The crew of Engine 2 were called to the scene and were able to safely rescue the kitten and turn it over to the city animal control officer.
It was all in a day’s work for the firefighters, though, who rescued another cat from a tree just two weeks ago.
