Paris, Tenn.–The Knights of Columbus Council 7086 presented the PLUS Endowment program in Paris with a check for $3,500. The check represents proceeds from the Knights’ annual Tootsie Roll fundraiser which was held this year at Paris Walmart, Kroger and IGA.
Funds donated to PLUS from the candy sales will be earmarked to provide special and unique learning opportunities for special needs students in Paris and Henry County. Thanks to donations from local businesses and individuals, last year PLUS was able to provide more than $73,000 in grants to educators in both our school systems.
