White Squirrel Festival Begins Friday

Kenton, Tenn.—There will be a lot going on at the White Squirrel Festival in Kenton this week, from an arts and crafts show to a car, truck, bike and tractor show and 4th of July parade and festivities.
The event begins Friday, June 28, with a tail gate party from 5-7 p.m. On Saturday is the arts and crafts and car, truck, bike and tractor show all day at the Kenton gym and city park.
On Monday, a reception for parade Grand Marshal George Farris will be held at 11 a.m. in City Hall.
On Thursday, the 4th of July Grand Parade begins at 11 am. Grab your lawn chairs and come out for a day full of fun activities which wraps up the week long town festival!
Parade line up begins at 10 am at Page Brothers Spreading (formerly the Old Plastech Building). Be sure to visit our sign in table to receive your registration number and parade route instructions.
Gee-Haw Pony Rides will be available at the Kenton Gym beginning at 9 am. Be sure to stop by and let the kids have fun.
Be sure to stick around town for other activities after our parade including our Cornhole Tournament at 2 pm, Street Dance featuring Juke Box Playboys at 6 pm, and Fireworks beginning at dusk (around 8:30 pm).
