Union City, Tenn.–Union City Police are asking for the public’s help in identifying a thief.
In its press release, UC Police said, “We believe that with your help we can find out who this thief is. Before someone gets offended at the word thief, the pictures clearly show his hands in the proverbial cookie jar.”
The individual burglarized a Jeep that was parked at a local bank on June 12. “He was smart enough to do this on film,” police said, and released surveillance photos of the theft.

He is a white male thin build, green shirt with logo dark pants with white stripes on the side, driving a white van with P95 on the drivers side.
