Three Candidates For Chancellor Position Submitted To Governor Lee

The names of three candidates for the position of Chancellor for the 24th Judicial District have been submitted to Governor Bill Lee following interviews all day Tuesday with five candidates.
The three candidates whose names are submitted are: Vance Walker Dennis of Huntingdon, Assistant District Attorney for the 24th District; J. Brent Bradberry of Dresden, Assistant District Public Defender for the 27th District; and Jennifer King of Huntingdon, who is a founding partner in the law firm of King and King of Jackson.
The interviews were conducted in a public session held Tuesday in Camden by the State’s Trial Vacancy Commission. The vacancy was created by the appointment and confirmation of Judge Carma Dennis McGee to the Court of Appeals.
Five area attorneys applied for the position, including Shon Johnson and Rebecca Griffey of Paris.
